The latest generation of artificial grass
Champion Ascari and Champion Infinity usher in a new generation of artificial grass fields. They give the footballer a peerlessly natural feeling and make technically high-quality football possible in all weather conditions. Unfilled grass pitches have all the advantages of previous generations of grass and score even higher in wear and resilience tests. These top products consist of two types of yarn, straight grass yarns that are supported in a bed of crossed yarns. The absence of rubber infill makes installation, maintenance and recycling easier.
The advantages of an unfilled artificial turf pitch:

A stiff, straight yarn, embedded in a finely texturised yarn - the second keeps the first straight for years
- and the wide range of shades of green of the fibres give the grass a peerless natural quality.
2. Outstanding playing comfort
Constant ball roll and a ‘natural’ trapping technique
Thanks to the combination of straight and texturised yarns the ball rolls as if on natural grass. The grass yarn stands up perfectly straight without filling due to the close construction of the grass surface. This allows for a ‘natural’ trapping technique. The ball is carried by the fibres, allowing the foot to easily ‘get under the ball’ to make a long pass or trap a high ball. In addition, and in contrast to natural grass, the playing properties remain constant throughout the year. After all, on a natural grass pitch the ball rolls less far in the summer than in the winter, which players do not always find easy to anticipate.
- Cooler pitch
The absence of rubber infill means the pitch heats up much less and also does not retain heat.
- No splash of rubber
Unfilled pitches have the advantage that during the game there is no splash of rubber.
- No rubber odour
- Minimal maintenance
Topping up with rubber and sweeping are no longer necessary. The pitch has to be treated with a dragging mat only once a week, depending on how often it is used. Maintenance costs are therefore minimal.
- Ecologically sound
The absence of rubber filling makes this artificial grass outstandingly environmentally friendly. If the pitch ever has to be replaced, the costs are limited and it can easily be recycled.
- Faster installation
Because no rubber has to be added, installation is quicker. If time is a crucial factor, this can be very important to the success of a project.

NRS, Natural Resilience System, an exclusively developed
grass yarn in PE, ensures that Champion Ascari XC has a
superbe natural look. The profile of the yarn is inspired by
natural blades of grass: a veined structure with a thicker vein
in the middle. The wide range of shades of green of the fibres
gives the Champion Ascari XC a peerlessly natural quality.
- Natural Resilience System - NRS
Thanks to the Natural resilience system, exclusively from DOMO® , the ball rolls as if on natural grass. The grass yarn stands up perfectly straight without filling due to its specific veined profiling and the close construction of the grass surface. The grass yarn also springs back perfectly after each time it is pressed down.

- Practically indestructible
A Champion Infinity pitch possesses outstanding wear resistance. Tests have shown that even after fifteen
years’ use, the polyamide fibres remain undamaged.
- Ecologically sound
The polyamide fibres are 100% recyclable and the absence of rubber infill makes this artificial grass
extremely environmentally friendly. If the pitch ever has to be replaced, the costs are limited. Champion
Infinity meets the strictest European environmental standard: ESSM105D.
